Honey Glazed Parsnips
8 baby parsnips, peeled and trimmed
1 tablespoon clear honey, warmed
3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
salt
freshly ground black pepper
450 ml/3/4 pint vegetable stock or water
Brush the parsnips with the honey. Coat them evenly in toasted sesame seeds and season well with salt and pepper.
Place in a steamer and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Steam over the boiling stock or water for 20 minutes or until tender. Keep hot, or serve immediately.
