Fruit And Cheese Kebabs
225 g/8 or Cheddar cheese, cubed
4 tomatoes, cut into quarters
4 slices wholemeal bread, spread with
polyunsaturated margarine and cut into squares
2 rashers streaky bacon, derindcd and cut into
quarters
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 dessert apple, impeded, cored and cubed
polyunsaturated margarine, melted
Place cubes of cheese, quarters of tomato, squares of wholemeal bread, bacon and fruit alternately on to skewers. Brush the kebabs all over with the melted margarine.
Cook under a preheated hot grill for approximately 3 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is cooked. Serve the kebabs on a bed of brown rice. SERVES 4
