Chocolate Biscuits


50 g/2 oz polyunsaturated margarine
100 g/4 oz plain wholemeal flour
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
25 g/1 oz fructose
1 tablespoon skimmed milk


Preheat the oven to moderately hot (190 °C/375 °F, Gas Mark 5).


Rub the margarine into the Hour. Add the cocoa powder and fructose. Using a knife, mix all together with the milk. Knead to a smooth ball and roll out on a floured board. Cut into rounds with a 6 cm/21/2 inch pastry cutter and place on a greased baking sheet.


Bake in the oven for 15 minutes and cool on a wire tray.
